The Partner Advisory Council is a group consisting of Check Point's partners that was founded to drive channel growth and development. It needed a visual program identity that was recognizable as being part of Check Point, yet that didn't compete with products. 
The PAC logo uses Check Point's standard blue (PMS 287) and a triangular motif found in the long-running NGX platform campaign.  It achieves the goal of being within the same visual family while remaining apart from product line graphics.

Check Point's NGX platform logo was the inspiration for the PAC logo design. They use the same triangular motif, as well as open letterforms representing flexibility.
