This piece was commissioned to be placed on a custom-shaped surfboard. It is a portrait of the client, capturing her signature sassy, take-no-prisoners attitude. The original sketch was done with colored pencil, then scanned to serve as a template for the digital version. Vector shapes have been painted and layered in PhotoShop to represent a vibrant, playful and confident wave ride.
